Use the Template Editor to define the number of chairs in your scheduling template, as well as the optional chair assignments and captions.
How to get here - As you create or edit global templates, you are prompted for chair details automatically. When editing an individual scheduling template, click Modify Chair from the Template Editor ribbon bar to open the chair setup window.
Chair / column details
Number of chairs - Enter the maximum number of columns, or chairs, you need in this scheduling template. Click Update to confirm the change.
Chair name - Click in the Name column to change the chair name, or caption, if desired.
Doctor, Office, Assistant assignments - Click in the column you want to change, then select the person or location to assign to this chair. As you appoint patients, only appointments that match the assignment(s) can be scheduled to that chair.
Chair group - Click in the Chair Group column and select the group to assign to this chair. As you appoint patients, only appointments that match the assignment can be scheduled to that chair.
Re-order chairs - Select the chair to move, then click UP or DWN to change its position in your template, and on your scheduling screen.
Delete chairs - Select the chair to remove, then click DEL. The number of chairs at the top of the window changes to reflect the new number.
Continue - Click Next to save your chair assignments and continue to the next set up window.
