Edge Cloud / Invisalign Integration

Use the Invisalign integration to connect your Edge Cloud patient records with their corresponding record on Invisalign's web site. Once connected, you can view the patient's Invisalign details, request videos, and open a patient's Invisalign record directly from Edge Cloud.

To set up your Edge Cloud / Invisalign integration, you will need to obtain a ClinCheck license agreement, activate the integration in your Edge Cloud System Integrations editor, and provide one or more Invisalign log ins.

Use This Feature

Click to OpenOpen Invisalign Patient List - Home ribbon bar > Tasks section > Integrations drop down > Invisalign. This will display the list of patients with Invisalign treatment records, along with their current Invisalign status. You can sort the list, update Invisalign patient data, open Invisalign and/or Edge Cloud patient folders, and link / unlink patients from this window.

Click to OpenSort List - Click a column header to sort the list by that data type.

Click to OpenUpdate Data - Click Update to connect to the Invisalign web site and update your patient data.

Click to OpenShow Unlinked Patients Only - Enable this option to quickly obtain a list of the Invisalign patients that have not yet been linked to an Edge Cloud patient folder.

Click to OpenLink Invisalign to Edge Cloud Patient Folder - Click Link beside the Invisalign patient you would like to work with (or,right-click the Invisalign patient name), then use Fast Find to select the Edge Cloud patient folder to link. (When the patient name and birthdate of an Edge Cloud patient folder exactly matches the patient name and birthdate of an Invisalign patient record, the two are linked automatically. However, if the name or birthdate have even the slightest difference, you must manually link them. )

Click to OpenUnlink Patient - Right-click the Invisalign patient name and select Unlink Patient to unlink an Edge Cloud patient folder and Invisalign patient record that were linked in error.

Click to OpenGo to Invisalign Record - Click the link number at the left of the window to go to the Invisalign web site, with that patient's Invisalign record open for your review.

Click to OpenGo to Edge Cloud Patient Folder - Click the patient name to open your Edge Cloud patient folder.

Click to OpenSearch Invisalign List - Type in the Search text box to narrow the list of patients.

Click to OpenRequest Videos - Enable the Request Videos option for one or more patients in the list, then click Request Videos. Once requested, a check mark will appear in the Pending Videos column until the video is complete. The next time you open the Invisalign integration or Update the list after the videos are complete, you will receive a notification that new videos have been completed, the Pending Videos checkbox will be removed, and the Videos Created column will contain a date. Your Invisalign system must have ClinCheck, and the patient Invisalign status must start with the text "treatment expiration date" or "progress tracking" for videos to be available.

After processing, the patient and responsible parties will receive an email message with links to the available videos, and the list of videos will appear in the patient's Correspondence History, ready for viewing.

Click to OpenView Details in Patient Folder - Open an Edge Cloud patient folder to view the most recent Invisalign update information for the patient in the Patient Information Panel. You can click the Link ID to launch the Invisalign web site with the patient's record open for your review, or click the ClinCheck link to open that Invisalign page. (This requires you to allow all popups for the site.)
