Set Up Transaction Adjustment Types
Use the Transaction
An Contract Adjustment that you create with this Transaction Adjustment editor is used in conjunction with applying treatment fee adjustments that reduce a billing party's financial obligation (such as family discounts and write-offs), but do not reduce your total production. See "Set Up Contract Fee Adjustment Types" for details about setting up and applying Contract Fee adjustments, which result in changes to your production total.
How to Get Here
Open the Editor - Home ribbon bar > Tools section > Editors > Financial > Transaction Adjustments. (You can also use the Search field to look for the editor you want to work with.)
Choose Your Settings
Select Existing Record - Your list of existing records appears at the left. Click the record to work with, then review and edit the details at the right.
The list of receipt adjustment descriptions appears in this window for your reference, but cannot be changed.
Create New Record - Type a description in the Create New Adjustment portion of the window, and select whether the adjustment will affect the account's miscellaneous charges or contract (treatment) fee. Then click Add. You can then edit your new adjustment to complete the details.

More Information
Print - You may want to print this list as a report for reference. See "Transaction Adjustments List" for details.
Editor History - When you open more than one editor without leaving the Editors window, a history of those editors appears at the top of your screen. You can click a name in the history to return to any previously opened editor, easily going back and forth between editors. This is useful, for example, when you are working with editors that are related to one another, such as the Treatment Chart Style editor and the Treatment Chart List editor.
