With Normal panel mode enabled in your Visual User Options, you select the panels, or widgets, to include on your screen. The more panels / widgets you select, the smaller the space available for each. To expand an individual panel and access additional functions, click the panel's Expand button, or double-click the panel heading. The remaining selected panels are then listed as buttons at the side of the screen.
With the Single Expanded panel mode enabled in your Visual User Options, one information panel is always expanded on your screen, and all remaining panels are listed as buttons at the side of the screen. You click or tap to choose the panel to expand.
