Use your Practice editor to maintain practice-wide demographic details. Much of this data integrates with the Practice Connect app to provide more information about your location to your patients and parents.
These settings are system-wide; in addition, several settings affect the information your patients and parents see on the Contact page of your Practice Connect app.
Name - Enter the name of your practice; this can be different from the orthodontist or office name found in your Orthodontist and Office editors.
Address / City / State / Zip - Enter the main street address of your practice. The street address in your Office editor, and not the address in your Practice editor, is linked to your Practice Connect app.
Phone - Enter the main phone number for your practice. The phone number in your Office editor, and not the phone number in your Practice editor, is linked to your Practice Connect app.
Email - Enter the main email address for your practice. The email address in your Office editor, and not the email in your Practice editor, is linked to your Practice Connect app.
Website - Enter the URL for your website. This setting is linked to the Contact page of your Practice Connect app.
Facebook URL - Enter the URL link for your Facebook page. To find it, navigate to your Facebook page and copy the URL that's in the address bar of your browser. This name appears under the Facebook header on the Contact page of your Practice Connect app. If you include your Facebook URL in this editor, your Practice Connect app does not provide a link to your page, unless you also enter your Facebook ID, described below.
Facebook ID - Use this setting to add a link to your Facebook page directly from the Contact page of your Practice Connect app. To find your id, navigate to your Facebook page and copy the URL. Then go to http://findmyfacebookid.com/ and paste your Facebook URL. Copy the number from the webpage and paste it into the Facebook ID field of your Practice editor.
Twitter Name - Enter your Twitter handle, without the "at" sign (@), to link to your Twitter page directly from the Contact page of your Practice Connect app.
Countries - If you practice in both the United States and Canada, you will be able to enable each country you actively practice in. Then select the primary country. While the primary country is the default for new records, you can select a different country for individual offices, professionals, insurance companies, patients, and more as needed. The address and phone number fields will automatically be formatted for the country assigned to that record. For example, an office assigned to "Canada" will have fields for "Province" and "Postal Code", while an office assigned to "United States" will have "State" and "Zip Code" fields.
Practices that work in only one country will not see a "Country" field in their Practice editor: Your address and phone number fields will be formatted for the country Ortho2 has on file. If you need to add to or change your country options, please contact your Ortho2 Regional Manager.
