When you contact Ortho2, you will likely need to supply your Ortho2 customer number as well as your practice name. You can quickly find you customer number and other useful identification items by selecting About from the Help menu within Edge Cloud.

Financials - Your patients' financial obligations can be allocated among multiple responsible parties and insurance plans. Edge Cloud tracks all contract and non-contract fees and payments, and contrasts the expected amount of treatment completed with the financial obligation completed. See "Patient Financials" for details.

Insurance - One of the keys to a healthy practice is maintaining accurate, well-organized insurance records. Edge Cloud provides both paper-based and electronic tools to help you track, bill, and maintain your insurance records. See "About Patient Insurance" for details.

Edge Proposal - With Edge Proposal, you can create orthodontic contract proposals which allow your responsible parties to select the terms of their contract with easy-to-use interactive sliders. You set the treatment fee, define the parameters your office is comfortable with, and offer a list of treatment add-ons. The responsible parties do the rest in the Edge Proposal companion app.See "Edge Proposal" for details.

Mail Merge - You can send mail merge documents to patients, responsible parties, and professionals in your Edge Cloud system. You can choose to view, print, capture, or email the document immediately, or send the output to a queue to be reviewed and processed at a more convenient time.  See "Mail Merge" for details.

Edge Signature - Edge Signature provides a way for your mail merge documents to be digitally signed or initialed by one or more parties, including the patient, responsible party, orthodontist, professional, operator, and assistant. Once signed, a copy is retained in the appropriate correspondence history for a permanent record. See "Edge Signature" for details.

Messaging - Use Edge Cloud Messaging to send instant messages to your Edge Cloud operators and professionals that work with your practice. Edge Cloud operators will see the message in their Message Center widget. Professionals will receive an email that invites them to log into their Edge Portal app to retrieve the message. In addition, you can set up a workflow to prompt you to send a message whenever a specific event occurs.  See "Edge Cloud Messaging" for details.

Edge Reminders and Edge Broadcast - Edge Reminders is an easy-to-use, efficient system for automating your patient reminders. Reminders can be sent via multiple message options including phone, text message, and/or email for any range of upcoming appointment dates. Messages can also be sent for recall reminders, birthday greetings, and more. Patient responses are automatically synched with the Scheduler and there’s no minimum monthly charge.See "Edge Reminders" for details. Use Edge Broadcast to create and send electronic newsletters to your patients, parents, and attending professionals. Edge Broadcast provides you with easy-to-use templates, as well as tools that optionally link to your social media posts to make creating fresh newsletter content as efficient as possible.See "Edge Broadcast Newsletters" for details.

Patient Folders - The patient folder contains several pages of information, including demographic and biographical data, findings and treatment records, responsible party, insurance, and financial details, and professional links. Edge Cloud patient applications make collecting, retrieving, and using this information consistent and efficient. Use the icons on the patient folder header to go to other pages of the patient folder. The Patient Information panel and the patient folder header remain constant throughout the folder tabs, providing you with quick information about the patient's gender, office, nickname, and more. See "Patient Folders" for details.

Patient Treatment - Use the Edge Cloud findings, planning, sequencing, and charting tools to track and manage all the details regarding your patients' treatment in your practice. See "About Patient Treatment Tools" for details.

Patient Rewards - Use the Patient Rewards feature of your Edge Cloud system to calculate points and track rewards you offer as incentive to motivate patient attendance, treatment cooperation, oral hygiene, and more.Patients can trade the points they earn by completing common treatment activities for prizes from your office. This use of positive reinforcement helps motivate patients to be prompt to their appointments, scheduling their next appointment while in the office, filling out online forms, and even keeping their six-month dental checkup. It’s easy to start using this system with every patient, including recall patients. Patients use customized cards to keep track of their points each time they sign in. But don’t worry about lost cards – points are tracked in Edge Cloud.See "Patient Rewards" for details.

Edge Imaging - Edge Imaging is a powerful tool with time-saving features and easy customization that helps you manage patient photos, x-rays, and other graphical objects. You can upload any number of images for your patients, categorized by image type and timepoint. Smart drag and drop features provide unlimited photo layouts, and sharing patient images with patients, parents, dentists and other professionals is easy, too. In addition, original files are retained, and an unlimited undo command is included so you don't need to worry about editing errors. See "Edge Imaging" for details.

Premier Imaging and SmartCeph - Use Premier Imaging, an available add-on to Edge Imaging, to take your imaging to a higher level. With Premier Imaging, you can use SmartCeph to complete your own ceph tracings, and show your patients their changes with Image Morphing and Timepoint Morphing. See "Premier Imaging" for details.

Scheduling - Your Scheduler capabilities are full-featured, flexible, and fully integrated with all areas of your Edge Cloud system. See "Scheduler" for details.

Sign-In and Patient Tracker - Your Patient Tracker module works in conjunction with Sign-In to show you the patients that should be arriving at your office soon, as well as those that are waiting in your reception area, those that are seated, and those currently in checkout. You can view the Patient Tracker in both full-window and widget modes. The Light Bar widget further details the activity within your Patient Tracker, helping you manage the doctor's involvement with each patient appointment. See "Patient Tracker" for details.

Reports, Labels & and Patient Forms - Use the powerful reporting features of Edge Cloud to keep track of patient data and practice productivity, and provide your patients and parents with timely, accurate, easy-to-understand statements, appointment cards, payment receipts and more. See "Reports, Forms, Online Forms and Labels" for details.

Online Forms - Online Forms provide a way for patients to fill out forms electronically, and a way for you to use that data in patient folders, merge letters and subgroups. Your online forms can be of any type (health history, office questionnaire, outpatient interview, etc.). Your system initially includes a new patient health history form. You can request additional customized forms for a fee. In addition, you can include your own logo at the top of all online forms. See "About Online Forms" for details.

Security & Practice Settings - The security and task management features in Edge Cloud help keep your data safe, remind you of tasks that need to be completed and show you your practice productivity. Practice Tools - Edge Cloud provides a comprehensive set of tools to help you accomplish your daily office tasks and maintain solid practice productivity. See "Practice, Staff, & Office Tools" for details.

Widgets - A widget is a tool or application that you can add to and remove from your screen. With Edge Cloud widgets, you can personalize your working experience by choosing to display the tools and information you need the most on your dashboard, in a separate window, and on your patient information panel, and removing from view the tools you don't use often. Widgets can be opened from the Widget Library ribbon bar, and closed by clicking the [X] in the upper-right corner of the widget panel. See "Widgets" for details.

Workflows - You can use workflows to automate Edge Cloud actions whenever something happens in your Edge Cloud system. For example, when an appointment is processed as kept, you can trigger a workflow that creates a treatment chart record. Depending on the type of workflow, you may be prompted to complete an action before you can continue with another task. See "About Workflows" for details.

Edge Animations - Edge Animations ensures your patients are fully informed about their treatment with videos from our ever-expanding library of resources. Powerful surgical and true 3D animations can be shown as is, or customized with annotations, narration, or background music. With Edge Animations, you have the ability to create and customize your own videos, as well as allow patients and referrers to access your videos. See "Edge Animations" for details.

Edge Pop - Use Edge Pop to see the patients and responsible parties that are calling into your office. When a pop up notification appears on your screen, it takes just a few simple clicks to open a patient or responsible party folder, or to create a new patient or responsible party record. See "Edge Pop" for details.

Edge Portal - The Edge Portal mobile viewer, available in both Personal and Premium versions, gives your office real-time access to vital practice information and images from any tablet or smartphone. Edge Portal Personal lets you quickly and easily access treatment chart data, reports, and your schedule from any location. Edge Portal Premium extends online functionality to patients, responsible parties, and consulting professionals so they can view appropriate information and images. You can use the information from the viewer to consult with dentists, and empower your patients to check appointment times; Edge Portal Premium even provides a way for you to accept online credit card payments that are automatically posted if you wish. If you have Edge Portal, you can send recovery passwords and initiate portal registration from within Edge Cloud. HR Manager - The HR Manager provides comprehensive employee management features. This optional module, available for a fee, tracks work and vacation hours, hire date, compensation and benefit details, and other key personnel information. Practice Connect - The Practice Connect app is an optional Edge Cloud product, branded with your practice name, logo, and customizable content for your patients and parents. Available for both iOS and Android devices, patients and parents can download your personalized Practice Connect app, and instantly access their appointments, images, animations, and rewards. The app also provides for personalized appointment notifications, automatic GPS patient check-in, and makes patient referrals simple and rewarding.
