Link / Unlink Edge Cloud Patients to OrthoBanc

Use the Link Patient feature of the Edge Cloud / OrthoBanc integration to manually link patient contracts for OrthoBanc payment collection. In addition to using this feature to manually link patient accounts, you can link patients to unresolved OrthoBanc accounts at the time you retrieve your OrthoBanc deposit.

How to Get Here

Open Link Patient Dialog Open patient folder > Patient ribbon bar > Patient section > Integrations drop down > OrthoBanc - Link Patient.

Use This Feature

Create New OrthoBanc Patient Account If the patient has never had an OrthoBanc record created, select New OrthoBanc Patient. This option creates a new record on the OrthoBanc site, and links your Edge Cloud patient folder to it.

Link to Existing OrthoBanc Patient Record If you have already created a record for the patient on the OrthoBanc site, outside of Edge Cloud, you can link that record to your Edge Cloud patient folder.

1. Click Link to Existing OrthoBanc Patient. You will then see a search dialog, with all available criteria from the Edge Cloud patient folder pre-loaded. Select the type of data you would like to search by (i.e. the patient last name), and click Search.

   

2. When the results of the search appear, click the OrthoBanc record that you want to link to this Edge Cloud patient folder, and click Select.

   

Un-Link Patient - (Available only if the patient is already linked to an OrthoBanc record.) Choose this option to unlink the Edge Cloud patient folder from the OrthoBanc record that is currently assigned to it.
