Financials - Your patients' financial obligations can be allocated among multiple responsible parties and insurance claims. Edge Cloud tracks all contract and non-contract fees and payments, and contrasts the expected amount of treatment completed with the financial obligation completed. Edge Imaging - Edge Imaging is a powerful tool to help you manage patient photos, x-rays, and other graphical objects. You can upload any number of images for your patients, categorized by image type. Example image types include Facial Smiling, Facial Resting, Intraoral, and Lateral Ceph. Sets of images taken at a specific point in treatment are saved together as timepoints. Then, when you review images from different timepoints, you have a clearer picture of treatment progress. Mail Merge - You can send mail merge documents to patients, responsible parties, and professionals in your Edge Cloud system. Messaging - Use the Edge Cloud messaging feature to send instant messages to one or more Edge Cloud operators and professionals. Operators will see the message in their message center widget; professionals will receive an email that invites them to log into Edge Cloud to retrieve the message. Automated Reminders (Edge Reminder) - Edge Reminder is an easy-to-use, efficient system for automating your patient reminders. Reminders can be sent via multiple message options including phone, text message, and/or email for any range of upcoming appointment dates. This use of positive reinforcement helps motivate patients to be prompt to their appointments, scheduling their next appointment while in the office, filling out online forms, and even keeping their six-month dental checkup. Widgets - A widget is a tool or application that you can add to and remove from your screen. With Edge Cloud widgets, you can personalize your working experience by choosing to display the tools and information you need the most, and removing from view the tools you don't use often. Workflows - You can use workflows to automate data changes and initiate Edge Cloud actions whenever something happens in your Edge Cloud system. For example, when an appointment is processed as kept, you can trigger a workflow that creates a treatment chart record.
