Maximize Images

Maximize an image to display that single image as large as possible in the imaging window, providing a closer look at the patient's condition. The top of the image will include your Image Caption, set up in the Image Captions editor. You can set the font size for the header of your Index layout and maximized images in your Imaging User Options.

Click to OpenMaximize / Minimize an Image

Open the patient's Imaging page, and position your cursor over the image you want to maximize. Double-click, or right-click and select Maximize to maximize that image. You can also maximize images from the patient's Treatment Hub, and from the Findings panel of a patient folder Home page. You simply double-click the maximized image to return to the layout view.

Limitations - You cannot maximize images while in compare mode or while viewing a cardflow layout, nor can you maximize logos.

Click to OpenWork with Maximized Images

View Different ImagesClosed - Use the arrows at the top and bottom of the image scroll through additional image types, and the arrows at the right and left margin to scroll through additional timepoints.

Pan / Zoom ImagesClosed - Enable this tool, then click and drag to move the image within its window. Or, right-click and drag to increase / decrease the image size (or, use the tracking wheel on your pointing device). When you use this tool while viewing an image or image comparison, your changes are ignored when you exit the screen. However, when you use this tool while in editing mode, you can choose to save the changes. In addition, you can choose to swap the left-click / right-click actions in your Image General editor so that the panning (moving) and zooming (resizing) tools use the opposite click type.

Annotation / Viewing ToolsClosed - The Viewing Tools and Annotation Options sections of the Imaging ribbon bar work together to move the image in its window, temporarily change the brightness and contrast, and draw on the image with lines, arrows, measurements, labels, and free-hand illustrations, and labels. These features are especially useful during patient / parent presentations.
