Image Captions Editor
Use the Image Captions editor to set up the information to include when you print or display patient images and image layouts, and when you choose to permanently burn labels onto images.
System-Wide Settings
- All of the settings in this editor are system-wide: When you change a setting, it changes for all Edge Cloud users and computers in your system.
Select Editors from the Tools section of the Home ribbon bar. Then, from the Imaging section, open the Image Captions editor. (You can also use the Search field to look for the editor you want to work with.)
Layout Caption
You can include the Layout Caption in static image layouts and your Image Print layout, and optionally include it at the bottom of your logo when you include the logo in an image layout. (See "Image Layouts Editor" for details about including captions and logos in imaging layouts.) Use the Add and Remove buttons to select which information to show. By default, the selected information will appear on one line. If you want the information to appear on multiple lines, edit the numbers in the Line field. You can then edit use the arrow buttons to the right of the included items box to re-order the information within each line as desired.
Image Caption
The Image Caption set up in your Image Caption editor displays at the top of card flow layouts, card flip layouts, and maximized images. In addition, you can optionally "burn" this caption onto image layouts. and when you email, export, and merge patient images. See "General Imaging Editor" for details about the "burning" option. Use the Add and Remove buttons to select which information to show. By default, the selected information will appear on one line. Formatting Captions
- You select the font to use for captions included in image layouts in the Image Layouts editor. You can use different fonts for each caption type, and different fonts for each layout. When the caption is not part of a layout (for example, when you include the Image caption when you export images), the caption appears in a standard type style and cannot be changed.
Click
Save from the file ribbon bar or your Quick Access toolbar (or press Ctrl+S on your keyboard) to save your changes.
