Patient Tracker User Options
Use the Patient Tracker user options to choose which patients to include in your Patient Tracker module or widget window. You may choose which Patient Tracker sections to show (i.e. Arriving, Waiting, Seated, or Check-Out patients), and filter patients by orthodontist, office, or assistant. In addition, you can assign a sound to play when a patient enters any of your displayed areas, and choose whether appointment timers count up or down. Your choices are operator-specific, and can be different for the Patient Tracker module and the Patient Tracker widget.
Assign Settings Tool - These settings are specific to you, and will follow you on whatever computer you log into: Other operators may have different settings. If another operator has the settings you want to use for your Patient Tracker module, that operator can use the Assign Options tool to copy those settings to you, or vice-versa. Note that the Assign Options tool copies settings for the Patient Tracker module, not the Patient Tracker widget.
Open User Options From a Ribbon Bar
Open the User Options window from the File, Home, Patient, or Scheduler ribbon bar. Then choose the Patient Tracker tab to open the User Options window for your Patient Tracker module.
Patient Tracker Module Only - This method opens User Options for your Patient Tracker module, opened from within Edge Cloud, and not the Patient Tracker application opened outside of Edge Cloud, or your Patient Tracker widget.

Module vs. Widget Settings - You can use different settings for your Patient Tracker module and Patient Tracker widget. Also, not all settings are available for the Patient Tracker widget, noted below.
General Settings
Filter by Office, Doctor, Assistant - Select to view all patients, or only those whose appointments are assigned to a specific doctor, office, and / or assistant.
Show / Hide Patient Thumbnail Image - Choose whether to include a patient photo in the Patient Tracker. This is a single setting that affects all sections of the Patient Tracker
Timer Count Up - Enable this option if you want the appointment timer on both your Patient Tracker and Treatment Hub to count the number of minutes an appointment has taken so far. When an appointment goes over the scheduled amount of time, the timer will continue to count the number of minutes that have passed (46 minutes, 47, minutes etc.), and will start to blink.
Or, disable this option if you want the appointment timer on both your Patient Tracker and Treatment Hub to count down the number of minutes an appointment has left until it goes over the scheduled time. When an appointment goes over the scheduled amount of time, and the timer gets to 0, it begins to blink, and counts in negative numbers the amount of time the appointment has gone over.
Patient Tracker / Treatment Hub Setting - Your Timer Count Up option affects both the Patient Tracker and Treatment Hub appointment timers.
Font Size - (Patient Tracker module setting only.) Enter a font size between 8 and 24 to select how big the words will appear on your Patient Tracker. You might consider using a large font size when you need to be able to view the Patient Tracker from across your operatory.

"View" to Display - Your Patient Tracker "View" defines which details you see on your Patient Tracker, such as the patient name, appointment procedure, and waiting time. You can create as many views as you wish, and switch among them easily.
