Sessions Widget
Use the Sessions widget to review the computers and operators logged into your Edge Cloud system. The widget includes the operator name, machine name and IP address, the version of Edge Cloud that is running, and the date and time the user logged in. Each session indicates an Edge Cloud license being actively used.
From the Application section of the Widget Library ribbon bar, choose the Sessions widget, and select to open it as either a Dashboard or Application widget.
Session Details
Each session listed includes the operator name, machine name and IP address, the version of Edge Cloud that is running, and the date and time the user logged in. Each session indicates an Edge Cloud license being actively used.
Sort Data
Click a column heading to sort the data by that column. Click the same column heading to reverse the sort order.
Adjust Column Width
Click the bar between two columns to reallocate the column space. Be aware that it is possible to adjust a column to be so narrow that you no longer see it.
Change Column Order
Click a column heading and drag it to a new location within the window. Other columns adjust accordingly.
Generally, computers are removed from your Sessions widget when the operator logs out, freeing up one of your Edge Cloud licenses. Occasionally, though, a computer or operator may get "stuck" and need to be removed manually. To do so, right-click the session you want to end and select End Session. After a buffer of 30 seconds, the session will be ended.
Sessions with unsaved data, for example, from a treatment chart record that hasn't been saved yet, might prevent the End Session feature from functioning. If this is the case, contact Ortho2 Support for assistance,
End Session Security - Only operators with full rights to the End Sessions property of the Practice Administration security group can end sessions. See "Security Editor" for details about using the editor.
Depending on your device and panel format, you can expand and minimize widget panels, move the widget location on your screen, float them in their own windows, refresh and print data, and close the widget when you no longer need it. See Application widgets or Your Dashboard for details about using these features.
