Upload Queue Widget
Use the Upload Queue widget to monitor the progress being made toward permanently saving changes to your Edge Cloud database.
Use the Throttle Upload and the Throttle Window settings in your General User Options to minimize the use of bandwidth by uploads during your working hours. If you leave the throttle settings disabled, uploads may slow down your entire Edge Cloud system. When you log into Edge Cloud with the throttle upload setting disabled, you can be prompted to open the General User Options window to enable it. See "General User Options" for details.
From the Application section of the Widget Library ribbon bar, choose the Upload Queue widget, and select to open it as either a Dashboard or Application widget.
Click the
Settings icon on the widget tool panel to enable / disable the Show All Uploads option. When enabled, your list will include pending uploads from all machines on your Edge Cloud network. Otherwise, you see only the uploads you have initiated yourself. When you are happy with your selection, click anywhere on your screen, or press Enter on your keyboard to exit the settings window.
To remove one or more items before they are uploaded, first click to select the item or items to work with. To select multiple consecutive items, hold the Shift key down and click the first and last items to include; To select multiple individual items, hold the Ctrl key down and click each item to include. Then, right-click and select Remove. Finally, confirm your action.
You can only remove pending items, which prevents them from being added to your Edge Cloud system. Items currently being uploaded, or items that have completed uploading cannot be removed.
Uploaded items are automatically cleared whenever you exit and relaunch Edge Cloud. However, you can also click Clear Completed at the bottom of the widget to remove the list of items that have completed uploading. Pending items remain in the queue. If your widget settings have enabled the Show All Uploads option, you may need to refresh the widget before the display is cleared.
You can close the Upload Queue widget while items are still pending or in the process of uploading without interrupting the upload. However, if you exit Edge Cloud before items have completed the upload process (whether or not your Upload Queue widget is open), you see a warning message with the number of items remaining. All remaining uploads are suspended until you re-launch Edge Cloud again.
Depending on your device and panel format, you can expand and minimize widget panels, move the widget location on your screen, float them in their own windows, refresh and print data, and close the widget when you no longer need it. See Application widgets or Your Dashboard for details about using these features.
