Use the Patient Tracker user options (available from the User Options menu, or the Settings icon on the Patient Tracker window) to choose which patients to include in your display. You may choose to filter patients by orthodontist, office, or assistant, as well as include or exclude entire Patient Tracker sections, such as patients that are Arriving or in Checkout. In addition, you can assign a sound to play when a patient enters any of your displayed areas, and choose whether appointment timers count up or down. Your choices are operator-specific, and can be different for the Patient Tracker module (opened from the Modules section of the Home ribbon bar) and Patient Tracker widget (opened from the Widget Library ribbon bar).
Patient Tracker settings are specific to you: Other Edge Cloud users may have different settings. In addition, you can use different settings for your Patient Tracker module and Patient Tracker widget . Also, not all settings are available for the Patient Tracker widget, as noted below.
Office, Doctor, Assistant - Select to view all patients, or only those whose appointments are assigned to a specific doctor, office, and / or assistant.
Show / Hide Patient Thumbnail Image - Choose whether to include a patient photo in the Patient Tracker. This is a single setting that affects all sections of the Patient Tracker.
Timer Count Up - Enable this option if you want the appointment timer on both your Patient Tracker and Treatment Hub to count the number of minutes an appointment has taken so far. When an appointment goes over the scheduled amount of time, the timer will continue to count the number of minutes that have passed (46 minutes, 47, minutes etc.), and will start to blink.
Or, disable this option if you want the appointment timer on both your Patient Tracker and Treatment Hub to count down the number of minutes an appointment has left until it goes over the scheduled time. When an appointment goes over the scheduled amount of time, and the timer gets to 0, it begins to blink, and counts in negative numbers the amount of time the appointment has gone over.
