Responsible Party Labels

Responsible Party Label; QL - Responsible Party

Run a Responsible Party mailing label or quick label to generate a label that includes the party's name and address. The labels are formatted to print on standard 8.5" x 11" mailing label paper, 3 labels across and 10 labels down, and the quick labels are formatted to print on single-column label paper with an approved printer.

Run This Label

1. Open the Label - You can open this feature in multiple ways: Use the method that's most convenient for you.

   Home Ribbon Bar - Reporting section > Reporting > Label > Responsible Party or QL-Responsible Party > Run. (You can also use the Search field to find the label you want to work with.) You might also be able to run this label from your Recent Reports or Quick Reports list. See "Run Reports" for details.

   Originally, the content of the labels is identical; however, you can change the Quick Label content at any time to suit your practice. (See "Set Up Quick Labels" for details.)

   

   Responsible Party Page - Name field > Quick Label. (See "Responsible Party Records" for details about opening the page you want to work with.) The contents of this label is the same as the "QL" label available from the Reporting window.

   

   Responsible Party Ribbon Bar - Quick Label. (An Edge Cloud responsible party page must be open for the Responsible Party ribbon bar to be available.) The contents of this label is the same as the "QL" label available from the Reporting window.

   

   Patient Ribbon Bar - Quick Label > Responsible Party > Name. (An Edge Cloud patient folder must be open for the Patient ribbon bar to be available.)The contents of this label is the same as the "QL" label available from the Reporting window.

   

2. Choose Responsible Party / Subgroup - Your choices for selecting the responsible party or parties to print for depend on which label you choose, and how you opened that label.

   Reporting Window > Responsible Party Label - When you print Responsible Party labels from the Reporting window, you may choose a subgroup to print for. If a patient has multiple responsible parties, a label will print for each party that fits your subgroup. If you do not choose a subgroup, a label will print for all responsible parties. If a patient has multiple responsible parties, a label will print for each party. These labels print 3-across on full-size label sheets.

   Reporting Window > QL Responsible Party - When you print QL- Responsible Party labels from the Reporting window, you may choose a specific responsible party to print for, or select a subgroup. If a patient has multiple responsible parties, a label will print for each party that fits your subgroup. If you do not select either a responsible party or a subgroup, no labels will be printed. These labels print on single-column label paper.

   Responsible page - Quick Label - When you print a Quick Label from a patient folder Responsible party page, label will be printed for that party only. These labels print on single-column label paper.

   Patient Ribbon Bar > Quick Label - When you print a Quick Label > Responsible Party label from the Patient ribbon bar, you may choose which of the patient's associated responsible parties to print for. Then, a QL - Responsible Party label will be printed for that party only. These labels print on single-column label paper.

3. View Results - (Available only from the Reporting window.)If needed, click View at the top of the report settings panel to view the results on your screen. When you run a report or form from your Recent Report list, or when you run a Quick Report, the initial results are sent to your screen immediately, with one exception: A Quick Report that has the Print Only option enabled will not show your results on the screen at all, but continue with the printing options.

4. Manage Options and Output - With the results on your screen, you can choose different report settings from the left side of the screen and click View again to obtain different results. In addition, you can manage the output with the toolbar at the top of the report window. See "Use Report Results" for details.

More Information

Do Not Use Partial Label Sheets - If you do not print an entire sheet of 3-column labels in one print job, do not re-feed the unused portion of the label sheet through your printer! You could seriously damage your printer!
