The default timepoints that come with your imaging system will likely meet most of your needs. Although you always have the option of creating additional timepoints when importing images, we recommend reviewing the list and deciding ahead of time what timepoints you want to use, and entering them as default timepoints. This will help maintain consistency, and provide for effectively using patient images in your mail merge documents.
Editors > Imaging > Default Timepoints. (You can also search for the editor you want to work with.)
Add a new timepoint - Click New. Select New Timepoint in the Name column and type a descriptive name. Assign the Order you want this timepoint to appear in relation to all other timepoints.
Delete timepoint - Select the timepoint you wish to delete. Click Delete. Existing patient images assigned to this timepoint are not affected: However, you will no longer be able to choose this timepoint for new images.
Edit timepoint name - Click and select the name you want to change and type the correct information. Existing patient images retain the original timepoint name: New images will use your new name.
Reorder timepoints - You can define the order the timepoints appear in Edge Imaging by changing the Order.
Save Changes Click
Save in your Quick Access toolbar or File ribbon bar (or press Ctrl+S on your keyboard) to save any changes you have made.
Not all my timepoints appear in this list. I have timepoints that I see when I am viewing certain image layouts, but they are not in my Default Timepoints list.
Unique timepoints are not added to the list - You can create unique timepoints for individual patients as you import their images. Timepoints created "on the fly" are not added to your Default Timepoints list.
Images retain their original timepoint name - When you delete or change the name of a timepoint, it is no longer available for new image imports. However, the original timepoint name remains with existing images.
