If you have multiple machines on your network, you must set up the Edge Update Settings for each machine individually.
Start > All Programs > Ortho2 Edge > Edge Update Settings.
Update Server - Enable this option if you have multiple computers, and you want this computer to be the one that downloads all the latest Edge files off the Internet and puts them on your network.
Only one computer on your network should have this option enabled.
If you have only one computer that runs Edge, leave this option disabled.
Update location - Enter the path where the latest Edge files should be downloaded, and can be found by all your network computers.
If this is the computer with the Update Server option enabled, note that the latest Edge files will be downloaded from the Default Location (as noted below this field) and saved in the Update Location you enter here.
All other computers in your network should set this field to the same location, as specified by your Update Server computer.
If you have only one computer that runs Edge, this field should be set to the Default Location (as noted below the field) so that the latest Edge files are always downloaded from the Internet. If needed, you can click D to return the Update Location field to the default location.
Save your settings - Click Save to save any changes and exit the settings window.
Individual computer settings - Be sure to set up the Edge Update Settings for each computer in your network.
