Add Findings to Treatment Plan / Chart

The data you enter into the Findings page of the patient folder can be imported directly into the treatment chart and plan.

How to Get Here

Open patient > Treatment Hub or Treatment Plan.

Open a patient folder and click the Treatment Hub tab.

Or the Treatment Plan tab.

Use This Feature

Initiate import - While adding data to aText Only or List and Text column, click Import Findings from the ribbon bar, or press F2 on your keyboard.
Include / exclude headings - Enable the Include Heading and/or Include Category options to include the section headings in the import. Otherwise, only responses will be imported.

Edge remembers these settings the next time you import findings. Note that you can use the Assign Options feature to copy these settings to other operators (and vice-versa) if needed. (See "Assign Your Settings to Other Users" for details.)

Select data to include - Check the box next to each item you wish to import. Note that the Export option of your Findings Editor determines the default findings will be imported into the record, but you can select and deselect individul items as needed. (See "Set Up Treatment Findings Categories & Responses" for details.)

Choose Import mode - Enable the Single Line option, at the bottom of the import window, to import your selections as one line, separated by a comma. Otherwise, the selections will appear as a list.

Save - Click Save in the Quick Access toolbar, or at the bottom of the Treatment Plan window, or press your Tab key after the final column of a treatment chart entry to save the record.
