Use the Other Referrer
Home ribbon bar > Editors > Professionals / Referrers > Other Referrer. (You can also search for the editor you want to work with.)
Choose Record to Work With - Your list of existing records appears at the left. Click the record to work with. The details for that record appear at the right.
Display active / inactive records - You can choose whether to include inactive records in your list by enabling / disabling the Show Inactive option at the top of the list.
Create new record - Click New, then complete the details, described below.
Edit referrer details - Select a record to work with, and review / edit the Referrer Details portion of the window.
Inactive / active toggle - Once you create a record, you cannot delete it. You can, however, flag it Inactive. Inactive records cannot be selected for your patients. You can, however,
Name - You can change the referrer name if needed. Note that this is a required field.
Contact info - Enter the address, phone number and e-mail address of the person or company.
Custom fields - Use the User Defined Fields
Review / edit notepad - Use the notepad to type free-form notes. You can categorize your notes
Save Changes Click
Save in your Quick Access toolbar or File ribbon bar (or press Ctrl+S on your keyboard) to save any changes you have made.
Referrer source names - We suggest you begin the name of non-individual referral sources (such as Yellow Pages, Family Friend, and Newpaper with a specific character (i.e. * ) so that you do not have to remember exactly how you entered the name in order to find it. (For example, did you use the term Yellow Pages or Phone Bookas the referral name?)
Print Referrer Labels - See "Referrer Labels" for details about printing labels for the records in your Other Referrer editor.
