View Patient Images

You can view and present your patient images in any number of formats. Because each set of images is saved according to a timepoint, you can demonstrate a patient's progress by comparing different sets of images for the same patient, as well as comparing images from different patients.

Where to View Patient Images

  • Patient Information Panel.

You can include your default image type on the Patient Information Panel, which is always available to all pages of your patient folder.

  • Patient Imaging page.

The patient Imaging page shows you the images you have imported for this patient. You can select to view the images in any of your available layouts, and choose which timepoint to display.

  • Patient Treatment Hub.

Use the Edge treatment findings, planning, sequencing, and charting tools to record and analyze information about your patients' treatment procedure activity, progress, correspondence, and other significant events.

  • Patient Findings page.

While viewing a patient's Findings History from the Findings page of the patient folder, you can click an image name to maximize that image.

  • Fast Find search results.

     

You can optionally include your default image type in the Fast Find search results window.

  • Scheduler.

The patient's image appears in the tooltip window when you hover over an appointment in your Scheduler, and when you activate the patient.
  • Edge Animations.

You can include patient images in your Edge Animations filmstrips

Where to View Other Images

  • Responsible party page.

You can add an image of the patient's billing party on the responsible party page of the patient folder.

  • Dentist / professional page.

You can add an image of your dentists and other professionals to their page of the patient folder. Note that the image is not available from their Professional editor record.

  • Correspondence history.

You can scan or drag almost any image file type into a correspondence history.
