Use the swap images tool to drag and drop images into a patient
First, initiate any of these Edge Imaging features:
Auto import - Use the swap images tool with the auto import feature to add one or more images to a series of images. See "Auto Import a Series of Images" for details.
Single import - Use the swap images tool with the single import feature to add or replace an individual image. See "Import a Single Image" for details.
Viewing a layout - Drag and drop an image onto a layout to initiate the single import feature. See "Import a Single Image" for details about completing the process.
Edit mode - Enable edit mode while viewing a layout to either overwrite an image in the layout, or to rearrange the images in a layout. See "Move, Resize, Rotate & Flip Images" for details about enabling edit mode.
Swap Images.
You can also enable the swap images tool by holding down the Alt key on your keyboard while you drag the image into place.
Locate the image you want to use - (If you are rearranging existing images in a layout, ignore this step.) Use a local image viewer to open the folder that contains the image you want to use.
Enable the swap images tool - Click Swap Images, or hold down the Alt key on your keyboard.
Drag and drop - Click and hold your mouse button on the selected image, then drag the image onto your Edge Imaging window. Or, drag an existing image to a new location in the layout you are editing.
Save Changes Click
Save in your Quick Access toolbar or File ribbon bar (or press Ctrl+S on your keyboard) to save any changes you have made.
