Use the Procedure Groups & Chains editor to set up appointment procedures that should be scheduled either on the same day (procedure chains), or within a certain timeframe of each other (procedure groups).
Home ribbon bar > Editors > Scheduling > Procedure Groups/Chains. (You can also search for the editor you want to work with.)
You set up procedure groups ( appointments that should be scheduled in a timed sequence) with the options in the top portion of the window. Procedure chains (appointments that should be scheduled the same day) are set up with the options in the bottom portion of the window.
Choose record to work with - Your list of existing records appears at the left, groups at the top of the window and chains at the bottom. Click the group or chain to work with. The details for that record appear at the right.
Create new group or chain - Click Add in the appropriate section of the window, then type a name and abbreviation in the Create New Group or Chain window. Then click Add.
Edit group or chain details- Define which procedures should be included in the record.
