Doctor Time Report

Run a Dr. Time report to review how scheduled appointment lengths compare to actual appointment and doctor time lengths. The Procedure section of the report compares scheduled appointment lengths with the average actual appointment lengths for each procedure, and includes the number of minutes the procedure "runs long". The Doctor Time section of the report compares scheduled doctor time (as determined for each procedure in your Procedure list) with the average actual time the doctor spent with the patient, and includes both the number of minutes the doctor "ran long" for each procedure, as well as the amount of time patients were in the "Dr is Needed" Light Bar status.

Doctor time is calculated from the data collected as you process patients into and out of the "Dr. is Here" status , as well as other statuses in your Light Bar widget. If the doctor attends the patient multiple times during a single appointment (and you properly process the patient as "Dr. is Here" and "Dr. is Not Here" for each of those segments), the time spent in each "Dr. is Here" segment is added together to get the total doctor time  for that procedure.
