Use Quick Message to send a message to any email address you have stored in
Click an email address to enable the Quick Message feature. You might need to hover over a name to first pop up the contact information, then click the email address. Email addresses are found in places such as these:
Patient information panel.
Treatment summary.
Scheduler.
Select history category - After initiating a Quick Message, you are prompted for the History Category to assign to your message.
Add & edit recipients - The Quick Message feature automatically inserts the e-mail address that you clicked, but you can change that address and/or add other addresses as needed.
Type or paste text - You can type the text of the message in the body of the e-mail, or copy & paste information from other areas of the patient folder, such as the treatment chart or notepad, into the e-mail.
Insert image - Use the copy images feature to insert images into your message. This does not send the image as an attachment, but adds the image directly into the body of the e-mail. See "Copy Image / Timepoint to Another Patient" for details.
Attach image - To send patient images as attachments instead of inserting them into the body of the message, use the E-Mail Images feature instead of the Quick Message feature. See "E-Mail Images" for details.
Send & track message - Click Send to send your message to the e-mail addresses you have chosen. A record of the message is saved in the correspondence history of each person whose e-mail address you included as a recipient.
Send Email workflow activity - Use the Send Email workflow activity to open the email dialog for patient whenever the activity is triggered by a workflow. See "Set Up Workflows" for details.
Correspondence history - Your e-mail message is recorded in the appropriate correspondence history for future reference.
